February Cards

In these cards I finally got to dip into my huge stash of ribbon & use some up! I think I'm getting the hang of this and trying to be creative in my efforts.

January Card

Getting ready for Valentine's day . . . I punched a hole in a white card with a heart punch, then used red & white fabric on the backside (with felt layered inside) in a quilted effect. I stamped the words this time - but they didn't scan so well!

December Card

Inside view: The star is embossed and I used pencils to color it in.

November Cards

Here is my first attempt at card making. I was pretty ambitious and wanted to impress the group! This was not a standard sized card, so it doesn't fit in any normal envelopes (a legal envelope worked). I printed the words with the computer; not stamped like many women's.

This is my second card - yes I have a Cricut machine! But I thought it was rather cumbersome for mass producing cards. It was a hassle to cut that many words out and even worse to glue them all down on the cards. I will be using it for scrapbooking only from now on I think!

I wanted to put a touch of color on the inside of this card so I cut a coordinating strip of paper and put it on the edge of the card and punched flowers from the solid blue as an accent.
