April Cards

Sorry I missed everyone at card club Thursday night. It was a long month for me. I made this get well card for Phil's cousin who was sick in the hospital. Hopefully no one will send it out as I did and find out that it arrived two days after the person passed away like we did. Hence my next card, it was so hard to think up an idea for a sympathy card and I wanted to have it made quickly. I missed card club because Phil was off to San Diego for the funeral; hopefully next month will be a better one.

March Cards

The cricut machine and I have come to an understanding. Letters are much easier to glue with a sticker maker than with a glue stick (thank you so much Michelle for that wonderful Christmas present!). I needed an engagement card for Grace's teacher, so made this (the words are from a cute card I saw online), and thought I would make more for card club. It opened from the middle; lifting the top up and the bottom down. Love the paper, although scanning it does not do it justice!

We needed lots of thank you cards for all of the friends & family in California. You cannot see in the scan that there is chalk spread over the white to match the ribbon and the flowers are stamped brown and orange to match the ribbon as well. Not my favorite card.
